NextCell Pharma AB (publ) (“NextCell” or the “Company”) has been invited to present its clinical development programme in type 1 diabetes at the INNODIA Symposium on T1D Therapies, held in connection with the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) 2026 meeting in Milan on 28 September. The presentation will focus on NextCell’s clinical programme for NXTCL-T1D, including long-term data from adult patients showing preservation of endogenous insulin production for more than six years following a single infusion.
INNODIA is a European network bringing together researchers, clinicians and drug developers in the field of type 1 diabetes. NextCell’s CEO, Mathias Svahn, will present during the conference’s cell therapy session.
The published conference material states that NextCell will present topline results from the ProTrans-Young study. The study is sponsored by Uppsala University, and NextCell has not yet received access to the study data. Therefore, no results from ProTrans-Young will be presented at the conference. The results will be presented separately once they become available.
